I should probably be ashamed of myself for being so fascinated by these sick individuals. I am surely not the only one, otherwise authors like Marlowe, Rule, and others wouldn't be read so much. And that doesn't even include the authors of fictional killers.

Marlowe puts together a nice list of some of the more heinous individuals who give nightmares to people who will deny they even read books such as this. He also does a good job of showing how other authors came up with their ideas for fictional characters, such as Thomas Harris and his Hannibal Lechter.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I have no doubt that others will too. And the Kindle edition will be easier to hide from those that might think you're doing research on the method and nature of their demise.

Read and enjoy!

The World Most Evil Psychopaths Horrifying TrueLife Cases of Pure Evil eBook John Marlowe Reviews

Meh, the stories are interesting, but really dry. I may be a bit of a sicko, but there wasn't enough detail of the crimes for me. None of the criminals seem all that evil because of how matter of fact their crimes are described.
fairly good read, not bad. Descriptive but brief overview of the more common cases/killers. Each case or person had about a 4-6 page description about there life story and crimes. I found it interesting enough to finish the entire book although at some points I wondered why I was even reading it since in some aspects it seemed kinda textbook like and I lost my interest while reading about certain criminals.
Excellent Read.

You read here what appears to be so many different triggers that set off people into a world of violence, torture and murder.

It helps you to try to understand that this people have no normal life or thinking patterns and it is frightening to realize that anything can set them off on their own murderous tangent. It is sad how many innocent people get in their way.

Would recommend for adults but definitely not for children.
The World's Most Evil Psychopaths Horrifying True-Life Case take you into of what evil can be in a human person that may even be living next door to you and you may never see or hear the evil, but it there just waiting come out someday. It's a good read and one learn a lot how one is evil or now evil become the horror it is. Worth reading on a hot night in summer alone in the dark with just a small reading light on in the bedroom as storm grows wild in the night sky or is it in morning light to be safe from the night. Good read enjoy John Marlowe Book as I did.
True stories that make you lock your doors and adopt a large watch dog. The words of my parents " Never trust a stranger" came to mind often as I read. The book is well arranged and not at all sensationalized. These killers were not made to look like poor souls who lost their way because of their childhood or some other life event, but the true evil killers they are.
For the price I wasn't expecting much. Surprisingly well written, it includes a broad range of people from different eras and countries. Many of the more famous murderers and a lot that I'd never heard of so that was interesting. Seems some people were looking for more depth and detail but this is more of a guide, giving a summary of the life and crimes of the individuals. There are several people I'd like to read more on just from what I saw here and I think that's the sign of good writing - leaving the reader craving more. Worth more than a dollar in my opinion.
The author does do a good job going over the family upbringing, early childhood into young adult lives of most killers referenced herein, allowing we readers our own conclusions as to whether that upbringing might have been cause of the psychopathic behavior.
It appears the author is also attempting to create historic timeline, with his thought that the psychopathic behavior in early times has evolved into the "killer spree" "mass murder" situations of today. I do wish that instead of his short introductions before each type of killers had explored that further.
Many of the murderers in this book have been written about many times before, so I would say that it might be great as a "refresher;" however, I still would not recommend the book for children of any age.
